Daklapack Group Holding completes strategic investment in You2Yourself BV

With the support of DaklaPack, You2Yourself can continue to work on the development of a “health monitoring method” based on the periodic determination of biomarker profiles in urine. 
 
Lelystad/Enschede, December 15th 2021 – You2Yourself BV (Y2Y), developer of a health monitoring method based on a person's personal, unique biomarker profile, announces the completion of the strategic investment by DaklaPack Group Holding BV (DaklaPack), with which it aims to accelerate its growth. DaklaPack Group invents and develops solutions for (medical) packaging and shipping issues for a large number of companies and organisations.

Y2Y is conducting the Urimon study. The study that investigates which measurable changes occur in urine and blood during the onset of a serious disease. More than 1,300 participants from the Twente region are now taking part in the study. With the extra capital and the knowledge of DaklaPack in the field of laboratory research, medical packaging and shipping issues, Y2Y can roll out its Urimon research nationwide. This enables progression of the development of algorithms and biomarker profiles in blood and urine samples from individuals.

Y2Y previously received a Pioneer in Healthcare grant, an MIT health grant from the province of Overijssel and a European Innovation Associate grant for its research. Y2Y was founded in 2018 and is led by Bram de Moor and Johan de Rooij. “DaklaPack and Y2Y share the ambition to transform the current reactive nature of healthcare into a proactive system that enables healthy aging at lower costs,” said Dave Klaassen, CEO of DaklaPack.
